Free Tickets for Mason Students
Most Mason Arts at Home performances are free for everyone. Limited quantities of free student access passes will be available for each paid digital performance. Free student access passes will be offered exclusively through the Mason360 platform to any current Mason student beginning two Tuesdays prior to each event.
Free student tickets will also be available for digital performances. Details for claiming those access passes will be updated here as they become available.
Who is eligible?
All George Mason University students carrying paid credit hours are eligible for free student tickets.
Students participating in OLLI, Mason’s Senior Citizen Waiver Program, or the audit program are not eligible to receive free tickets.
How many tickets can I get?
For most performances, Mason students may get 2 free tickets, however, for some performances, there may only be 1 student ticket available per student. For these performances, if available, students may obtain a second free ticket 30 minutes before the performance. Noted in the event listing, is the number of free student tickets available for each performance and on the printed student ticket calendar available at the Center.
Mason students may also buy one discounted companion ticket for most performances. Additional tickets are available at full price.
How do I get free student tickets?
Free student tickets may be picked up in person at the Center for the Arts Ticket Office on a Tuesday, two weeks prior to the event. Students must bring their valid Mason ID when picking up tickets. View a listing of events with free student tickets.
Students wishing to sit together must visit the ticket office together and request adjacent seats. Once student tickets are issued, they cannot be exchanged for other seat locations or performance dates. Student tickets may not be resold. Tickets will not be honored if they are resold.
What if I am not on the Fairfax Campus?
Tickets for the Center for the Arts may also be picked up at the Hylton Performing Arts Center on the Science and Technology campus in Prince William County.
Mason students located at the Arlington and Loudoun campuses, and students enrolled in online programs, may download the student ticket request form and email it along with a copy of their class schedule to firstname.lastname@example.org or fax it to 703-993-8650.
Tickets for Mason students enrolled in online programs or coming from Arlington, Prince William, or Loudoun will be held at the venues Will Call window for pick up on the day of the performance.
