Free Student Tickets
Free Tickets for Mason Students
Mason students may get free student tickets for more than 100 performances each year. Enjoy the best in music, dance, theater, and more... for free!
Who is eligible?
All full-time George Mason University students carrying nine paid credit hours per semester as undergraduates, or six paid credit hours as graduate students are eligible for free student tickets.
Part time Mason students attending a performance as a class requirement are exempt from the credit hour criteria and may pick up tickets using the same procedure as full time students. Please bring a copy of your syllabus to present at the ticket office. Tickets may be picked up as long as student tickets are available.
How many tickets can I get?
For most performances, Mason students may get 2 free tickets, however, for some performances, there may only be 1 student ticket available per student. For these performances, if available, students may obtain a second free ticket 30 minutes before the performance. Noted in the event listing, is the number of free student tickets available for each performance and on the printed student ticket calendar available at the Center.
Mason students may also buy one discounted companion ticket for most performances. Additional tickets are available at full price.
How do I get free student tickets?
Free student tickets may be picked up in person at the Center for the Arts Ticket Office on a Tuesday, two weeks prior to the event. Students must bring their valid Mason ID when picking up tickets. View a listing of events with free student tickets.
Students wishing to sit together must visit the ticket office together and request adjacent seats. Once student tickets are issued, they cannot be exchanged for other seat locations or performance dates. Student tickets may not be resold. Tickets will not be honored if they are resold.
What if I am not on the Fairfax Campus?
