At the Center for the Arts at George Mason University and across all Mason Arts venues, we value clear and open communication with our patrons. As part of this commitment, we strive to explain all ticket fees and their purpose—so patrons feel informed and confident every step of the way.
2025–26 season non-subscription orders: In-person orders at the Ticket Office have no per-ticket fee. When ordering individual 2025–26 season event tickets by phone or online, a service charge is applied to help cover credit card processing and support costs of our ticketing platform:
- For tickets priced $20.00 or less – $4.00 per ticket
- For tickets priced $20.01 to $60.00 – $5.00 per ticket
- For tickets priced $60.01 or more – $6.00 per ticket
For 2025–26 Great Performances at Mason and Family Series season subscribers, a one-time per season $15 subscriber fee is applied to all subscription orders, which helps to offset the cost of credit card processing and postage for mailed subscriber packets. As a benefit of paying the one-time fee, the Ticket Office waives per-ticket fees and any fees related to ticket exchanges throughout the season.
Please note, Mason Arts venue ticket policies and fees are subject to change and may vary by presenter.
Beginning with the 2026–27 season, advertised ticket prices are inclusive of all fees. Additionally, the one-time subscriber fee previously charged each season has been removed.
