Details for Group Leaders

Once you decide to bring a group to the Center, it’s best to start planning as early as possible so you have more than enough time to select a show, contact your guests, arrange for transportation, and collect payment. Simply contact our Group Sales Coordinator at 703-993-8600 or cfatix@gmu.edu to get the ball rolling.

Next, you'll want to ensure your group members have all the information they need regarding the performance, tickets, and payment. Below are some important points to keep in mind. For a more detailed guide to bringing a group to the Center, please download the Group Leader Packet.

Payment Details

  • Once the reservation is completed, the Group Sales Coordinator will email a copy of the invoice with details including payment amounts, due dates, and location of seats. Payment of the deposit can also be completed over the phone. Please sign and return to the Group Sales Coordinator with the payment of the 25% non-refundable deposit. It can be returned by fax, email, or mail. Payment of the deposit can also be completed over the phone.
  • Three weeks prior to the performance, please check in with your group to make sure any additional needs are addressed. (I.e. additional tickets, accessibility accommodation, price modifications involving children or students of other universities)
  • Complete your payment of tickets two weeks prior to the performance and let us know how to deliver your tickets: by mail, Print-at-home, or at the Will Call Window.

Groups Get Great Service

  • We will hold your reservation for 14 days. The deposit payment is due after 14 days.
  • We will make accessibility accommodations as close to the rest of the party as possible.
  • You can choose how to receive your tickets. Your options are mail, print-at-home, or Will Call. If there are less than two weeks before the performance, tickets will automatically be held at Will Call.
  • No surprise fees. You won't see any additional fees hidden within the contract or bill.
  • Flexible group size. We are happy to assist you in adding or subtracting seats if necessary before final payment. (two weeks minimum notice of changes)
  • Two group sales options: Traditional or Entourage

Please Note

  • The maximum discount for holiday performances is 10%.
  • All group discounts are subject to availability, and certain performances and special events are not eligible for group discounts.
