Want to make a holiday memory with your family? Celebrate holiday magic at the Center for the Arts this season. From Chanticleer to Sweet Honey in the Rock®, Vienna Boys Choir, and American Festival Pops Orchestra, there is something for everyone this holiday at the Center for the Arts!

There’s no better way to begin the holiday season than with Chanticleer on Saturday, November 30 at 8 p.m. This twelve-member all-male ensemble, known as "an orchestra of voices," returns to the Center to perform a program of exquisite Gregorian chant, Renaissance motets, Gospel melodies, and Christmas carols. Experience for yourself “the world’s reigning male chorus” (The New Yorker).

Then, the Washington D.C.-based Sweet Honey in the Rock® makes their Center debut on Saturday, December 7 at 8 p.m. with a dynamic sound that ranges from African to blues to gospel and jazz. Their program Celebrating the Holydays, which features 5-part harmonies and sign language interpretation, offers a unique blend of traditional American holiday spiritual songs and hymns, as well as songs from other cultures and religions.

Friday, December 13 at 8 p.m., the heavenly voices of the Vienna Boys Choir return to Concert Hall to captivate with a program of classical masterpieces, contemporary pop favorites, Austrian folk songs, and beloved Christmas carols with their signature old-world charm and youthful vocal purity. With over 500 years of a cappella excellence, and long linked with many of history’s most distinguished composers, Haydn and Schubert were themselves choristers, the Vienna Boys Choir is one of the best international choral ensembles.

Closing out our holiday concert season Saturday December 14 at 8 p.m. is the beloved American Festival Pops Orchestra. Join them in their annual decking of the Concert Hall with their ever popular and festive family program Holiday Pops. Conducted by founder and Artistic Director Anthony Maiello, the pops orchestra performs an uplifting program that including Leroy Anderson's "Sleigh Ride," "Christmas Festival," and everybody’s favorite carol sing-along.
