Each season, the Friends of the Center for the Arts hosts five Artists in Conversation events. These lively events provide members of the Contributor level or higher ($150+) with a behind-the-scenes look into the Great Performances at Mason season and the new Family Series. Hosted by guest artists and members of Mason's faculty, these events are sure to bring you in up close and personal with the art that the Center has to offer! This season, Friends can look forward to events celebrating the following performances:
L.A. Theatre Works: Steel Magnolias, Sunday, October 14, 7 p.m.
Spectrum Dance Theater: A Rap on Race, Friday, November 16, 8 p.m.
Enchantment Theater: The Phantom Tollbooth, Sunday, January 27, 2 p.m.
Mark Morris Dance Group, Friday, March 1, 8 p.m.
Pablo Sáinz Villegas, Friday, April 12, 8 p.m.
The Friends will also host one ticketed event, open to all Friends members and Subscribers. This event will celebrate The Pink Panther in Concert, which is being presented on Friday, March 15 at 8 p.m.
