Jeff Goldblum, star of Independence Day, Jurassic Park, The Fly—and yes, remarkably talented jazz pianist—is headlining the 21st annual ARTS by George! benefit event on October 3 at the Center for the Arts, where he’ll be playing with the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra.
If you’re unfamiliar with Goldblum’s musical moonlighting, you’re not alone. Despite the ensemble’s nearly 30-year run and its superstar guest artists (including Gregory Porter, Miley Cyrus, Fiona Apple, and Ariana Grande), the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra still feels a bit like a well-kept secret.
To get a taste of the musical treats in store for you, check out a Mildred Snitzer Orchestra playlist, featuring favorites like “Make Someone Happy” and “If I Only Had a Brain:”
