This three-event series is a fantastic opportunity for the whole family to explore the magical world of live performance together. The Family Series introduces children to the arts though lively and engaging programs in song, dance, and story.

The series kicks off on Sunday, November 27 at 3 p.m. with a special performance of The Queen’s Cartoonist’s: Holiday Hurrah! Since forming in 2015, The Queen’s Cartoonists have toured across the country and created a fresh way to appreciate classical music and vintage cartoons. Keenly aware of all things holiday oriented and completely ridiculous, The Queen’s Cartoonists have set out to find the best holiday-related cartoons, films, and jazz. This fun and festive performance is set to live projected clips in sync with the music. Join us this holiday season to experience your holiday favorites in a wonderfully new way!

The series continues on Sunday, March 26 at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. when Enchantment Theatre Company presents The Adventures of Harold and the Purple Crayon. This beloved tale follows the zany adventures of Harold, an inventive young boy, who creates the world he wants to explore, using nothing more than a big purple crayon and his “sky’s the-limit” imagination. Combining life-size puppets, pantomime, dance, magic, and original music, The Adventures of Harold and the Purple Crayon will delight and amaze its audiences, from children to grandparents—anyone, in fact, whose heart is young and adventurous.

The final event in this season’s Family Series takes place on Sunday, April 23 at 4 p.m. with the pulse-pounding and riotously funny performance of The Passing Zone Saves the World! The Passing Zone has been wowing audiences for decades with hilarious, award-winning performances. Their hysterically interactive performance will have the whole family laughing and gasping for breath with a zany blend of hair-raising juggling, dangerous stunts, as well as a healthy dose of The Passing Zone’s signature brand of comedy.
