Mason’s Third Annual Giving Day
For just 24 hours, from midnight through 11:59 p.m. ET on April 4, the Mason community is showing its support as part of George Mason University’s third annual Giving Day. This year, we are raising funds to enhance all Center for the Arts patrons’ experiences through new signage.
The Center for the Arts can be difficult to find. Community members and students alike have been at a loss trying to find their way to this artistic hub. Help us install new signs for the Center for the Arts, including parking and directional signage, both inside and outside the facility. As Dean Rick Davis likes to say, “The Center for the Arts is the best kept secret of Fairfax County, and we’d like it not to be.” Make your gift today and improve every patron’s experience.
Giving Day Challenges!
- The first 25 gifts to the project will each have an additional $10 added! This generous challenge is made possible by Evelyn Kiley of the Friends of the Center for the Arts.
- If the Center for the reaches its goal of 40 gifts over the day, an additional $250 will be added to the fund! This generous challenge has made possible by an anonymous member of the Friends of the Center for the Arts.
2018 Giving Day Project: Modernize the Monson Grand Tier
Last year, our generous supporters came together to raise nearly $4,000 to support enhancements to the Monson Grand Tier. We are proud to say that the Center for the Arts ranked eighth for the total number of gifts to any fund across the University; and, the College of Visual and Performing Arts had more donors than any other unit!
