New Concept Renderings

Quinn Evans Architects led a planning study phase for the Center for the Arts reimagination project which ended in April 2026. The design team developed a comprehensive understanding of the existing facility’s condition, performance, and opportunities for transformation, led an intensive stakeholder engagement process, and conducted site surveys and technical assessments. This resulted in a detailed project program, cost estimates, and new concept renderings, such as the artwork featured on this site as well as the conceptual floor plans seen below.

Trap Level

The Trap Level establishes an efficient organization of support and storage functions serving the stage and pit. 

Ground Level

The Ground Level illustrates the expanded and reconfigured relationship between the existing Center for the Arts and the adjacent Performing Arts Building (PAB) to the north.

Intermediate Level

The Intermediate Level introduces a strategically programmed floor that balances essential Back of House support with enhanced Front of House donor and patron amenities.

Upper Level

The Upper Level retains the general configuration of the existing layout but incorporates some updates including more storage.
