Student Tickets

All full time George Mason University (GMU) students—students carrying nine paid credit hours per semester as undergrads, or six paid credits as grad students—are eligible for free student tickets. Students must bring their valid GMU ID when picking up tickets.

Be sure to pick up a new copy of the Broadside each Monday during the Great Performances at Mason Season for updated listings and Student Ticket availability.

For most performances, GMU students can pick up two free tickets in person at the Center for the Arts Ticket Office beginning on Tuesday of the week prior to the week of the event. For some performances there are a limited number of student tickets available. For these performances, GMU students are allowed only one free ticket, although they may obtain a second free ticket 30 minutes before the performance, if available. Performances with limited student tickets are noted.

Part time GMU students attending a performance as a class requirement are exempt from the credit hour criteria and may pick up tickets using the same procedure as full time students, as long as student tickets remain available.

GMU students may also buy one discounted companion ticket for most performances. Additional tickets are available at full price. GMU students located at Arlington, Prince William, and Loudoun campuses may download the student ticket request form and fax it along with a copy of their class schedule to 703-993-8650.

Tickets for GMU students coming from Arlington, Prince William, and Loudoun to attend an event will be held at the venue Will Call window for pickup on the day of the performance.
