Young Masters Concert: Annual Music Scholarship Benefit Event

The Mason School of Music is proud to present the Young Masters Concert, a performance by winners of the school-wide concerto competition.

This year’s performers include pianist HyunJi Kim performing Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 21 in C major; soprano Emma McDermott performing “Si, mi chiamano Mimì” from Puccini’s “La Bohème”; pianist Wade Meyers performing Anton Rubinstein’s Piano Concerto No. 4 in D minor, Op. 70; and classical guitarist Matt Trkula performing Joaquín Rodrigo’s “Concierto de Aranjuez.”  They will perform with the Mason Symphony Orchestra and combined choirs under the direction of Dr. Dennis Layendecker. We hope you will join us as we showcase exceptional student talent and benefit the future of musical study at George Mason University!
