Flint Hill Arts Jam
- April 19, 2017 at 7:30 pm
Center for the Arts, Fairfax Campus
The theme for the 2017 Annual Flint Hill Arts Jam is “Legacies.” You will experience top notch entertainment: the music and dance numbers are so well done, as one attendee remarked, “You would think you were at the Kennedy Center.”
Highlights for this year include The Major Minors singing Bruno Mars and Adele; the orchestra performing music from Pirates of the Caribbean; the percussion ensemble taking us on a journey through the Rainforest; and original choreography performed by our modern and jazz dancers. The choirs will perform a medley from Little Shop of Horrors; our musical theater students will perform Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! from the musical, Mary Poppins; and, as a grand finale, 160 students will join together on stage to honor of the legacies of David Bowie, Maurice White, John Lennon and Prince.
No reservations are required, and the event is free and open to the public.
