by Moisés Kaufman and the members of Tectonic Theater Project; Directed by Heather Hicks:
A Studio Series Production
- October 5, 2016 at 8:00 pm
In October 1998, Matthew Shepard was viciously beaten, tied to a fence, and left to die on the outskirts of Laramie, Wyoming. Following the attack, Moisés Kaufman and the members of Tectonic Theater Project conducted interviews with hundreds of Laramie residents. These interviews were used to create this emotionally charged story that will leave you considering the past, present, and hope for a better future.
A Talk Back/Q&A with the cast will take place after the first Friday performance of each production.
This performance will also be presented at the Hylton Performing Arts Center on October 13, 14 & 15 at 8 pm, and October 15 at 2 pm. Learn more.
