Concert Hall Family-Friendly Event

This program of music by Franz Schubert is the third in the series of unique "concerts with commentary." No composer wrote more beautiful melodies and accessible music than Franz Schubert. He is the composer of such famous works as Ave Maria, Serenade, and the Trout Quintet. With this unparalleled gift for writing ear-catching melodies, his compositions also have an exciting rhythmic verve. The program will include his beloved and familiar Ave Maria, the Trout, the spellbinding Impromptus, the exhilarating March Militaire, and the vivacious Sonata in A major, D. 664. This concert is sure to be inspiring for those just beginning a journey into the world of classical music as well as those with an existing passion for piano literature. An interactive Q and A will conclude this program.
