This outstanding orchestra is known and appreciated throughout the greater D.C. area for its superb musicianship and its delightful performances. This concert features music from film, television and Broadway that is a cherished part of American pop culture. Under the baton of founder and Artistic Director Anthony Maiello, this gifted group of musicians performs some of your favorites in what is certain to be a delightful evening of popular music. Special Guest Artist, Norma Douglas Zimdahl, has performed on radio, television and on Broadway, and joins the AFPO as piano soloist for a performance of her composition, Norma's Jazz Classic.
