Women and Wallace
Written by Jonathan Marc Sherman | Directed by Casey Bauer
A Young Man’s Journey in 1980s America
Sherman’s 1988 work plays with time. At the age of six, Wallace walked into his home only to discover his mother, cold and lifeless, in the kitchen. As a handsome young man of eighteen experiencing other memorable moments in his life, he copes with growing up.
Written by Georg Büchner | Translation by Nicholas Rudall | Directed by Rebecca Wahls
Working Class Tragedy from the German Theater
Left unfinished at the time of Büchner’s death, this influential European play examines the dehumanizing effects of doctors and the military on a young man's life. Although it premiered in Munich in 1913, it was written 80 years earlier and a variety of authors, editors and translators "finished" the play over time.
