One of America's most celebrated theater companies presents this delightful Pulitzer Prize-winning play about race, class, and friendship. Set in Atlanta beginning in 1949, this heartwarming tale is the story of Miss Daisy, an older Jewish woman, and her African-American chauffeur, Hoke. The play follows the pair over the 25 years of their relationship as they develop a close friendship despite their differences. The racism and anti-Semitism they encounter is a common bond that makes their friendship even stronger. The successful film adaptation starring Jessica Tandy and Morgan Freeman earned multiple Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
