A Tribute to The Dream

Bring your whole family and join the George Mason University Potomac Arts Academy and the School of Music for a Black History Month Celebration Concert “A Tribute to The Dream”.  Featured on the program will be the Mason Wind Symphony and Vocal Studies Students, Mason Gospel Choir, selected members of The Zion Baptist Church Senior Choir and Herndon Elementary School Chorus. This uplifting concert celebrates the anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr’s “I Have a Dream” speech through the music of Joseph Schwantner’s “New Morning for the World”, “Lift Every Voice and Sing”, “We are the Children” and other spirituals and popular tunes. This family event is appropriate for elementary school children through adults.
